Kundalini Yoga Mantra of Protection
Kundalini Yoga Mantra of Protection

The Kundalini Yoga Mantra of Protection, also known as the Mangala Charan Mantra, is traditionally chanted to create a field of safety, guidance, and inner calm before meditation or practice. Many practitioners recite it three times to tune into a sense of divine protection and intuitive clarity. By focusing on the sound current and your breath, this mantra can help quiet mental chatter, release fear, and anchor you in a feeling of trust and support from something greater than yourself.
In its common form, the mantra is: “Aad Guray Nameh, Jugaad Guray Nameh, Sat Guray Nameh, Siri Guru Devay Nameh.” You can chant it aloud or silently, letting the vibration resonate through your heart center. Whether you are new to Kundalini Yoga or a long-time practitioner, using this mantra at the beginning of your day or practice can gently align your energy, strengthen your aura, and remind you that you are never truly alone on your spiritual journey.

There's no such thing as an "accident." An accident is the result of time and space coordinates triggering an event. Accidents happen when you're in a certain place at a certain time. Maybe it's the right place at the wrong time or the wrong place at the right time!
Here's a yogic "secret" to help you protect yourself from accidents and incidents. It creates a cushion, a buffer of time, which changes your future location in space.
This mantra of protection gives you an edge over time and space. It only takes a few seconds to repeat it a couple of times before you turn the key in the ignition. Those few seconds create a margin of safety of about nine feet at that crucial moment in time when you might otherwise have met an accident. Also, I wouldn't underestimate the power of the consciousness you are invoking with these particular syllables. See the explanation in the Teacher Training.
